Ross Masood Shaikh
MCCI Pune - Founder, Educationist, Industrialist, Philanthropist
Mr. Ross Masood Shaikh is a visionary entrepreneur, social reformer, and the founding father of the Muslim Chamber of Commerce and Industries (MCCI), Pune.
With a background in Mechanical Engineering (B.E. – University of Madras), he began his professional career at Thermax Ltd., where he gained deep expertise in designing and manufacturing process heat equipment for critical applications, including specialized steam boilers for the Indian Navy and ONGC oil fields.
Driven by a passion for social upliftment and entrepreneurship, he established his own companies, Ross Enterprises and Spantek Projects, pioneering indigenous design and manufacturing of steam boilers, food processing equipment, and industrial solutions. His entrepreneurial journey was motivated by a strong desire to empower the less privileged and generate employment opportunities, reflecting his unwavering commitment to social welfare.
Suhail Bashir Ahmed Ansari
MCCI Pune - President
A Chartered Engineer, MBA, and accomplished corporate leader, Mr. Suhail Ansari brings over four decades of international experience in infrastructure and commercial projects across the Middle East, including leadership roles in renowned global organizations and a Tata Group Joint Venture in the UAE.
He currently serves as:
- Chairman – Span International Academy
- Trustee – Span Welfare & Charitable Trust
- President – MCCI (revival initiative)
- Chair – INBAC (Integrated Building Automation Services Community)
- Motivational Speaker – Keep Moving Movement (KMM)
He is also associated with several educational institutions and social organizations, including Anjuman-I-Islam, and is a proud life member of COEP Alumni Association, Vincent’s Old Boys Association, Institution of Engineers, Deccan Muslim Institute, and Life School.

MCCI Pune Delegation at Canton Fair 2025 | China Trade Visit
14th to 21st October 2025
The Muslim Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCC&I), Pune successfully led a 13-member business delegation to the Canton Fair 2025 in Guangzhou, China. The visit enabled MCCI members to explore global sourcing opportunities, advanced manufacturing technologies, competitive pricing, and long-term international partnerships, strengthening cross-border trade prospects for Indian businesses.
